Ridgewood Kit Home
Donna and Patrick Warren closed on their purchase of 162 Hope St in Ridgewood yesterday. The home is a mail order kit home circa 1917. The previous owner believes it was purchased from Sears.
The Warrens will be doing major renovations on the home before moving in. The Warrens and I have started a blog to document the renovation and the search for clues as to the manufacturer/retailer. We've been doing research on kit homes and aren't convinced this is indeed a Sears home.
